Kathmandu. On Sunday, the last trading day before Dashain, the stock market rose by double digits. On this day, the NEPSE index increased by 11.51 points to close at 2663.51 points.
The NEPSE sub-group saw a rise in 10 groups while three others declined. On the day, the banking group rose the most by 0.84 percent while the trading group fell the most by 1.28 percent.
Shares of 170 companies have increased in the market today. Shares of 69 companies fell on the day, while 12 remained unchanged.
Around Rs 3 billion was traded in the market today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
