Kathmandu. Instant messaging app WhatsApp has announced a new privacy-focused feature called Advanced Chat Privacy. This feature is designed to protect the user’s most sensitive conversations. Now this feature has been rolled out globally.
New settings will be available under this new feature. Which will be available for both personal chat and group chat. In such a situation, whenever the user feels that any of their chats is more privacy, with the help of advanced chat privacy, they will be able to prevent their content from being shared outside WhatsApp.
After this latest update of WhatsApp, after turning on the option given in settings, users will be able to stop sending chats to other people and auto-downloading media on the phone.
In such a situation, users will be able to easily assure other people that the content and conversations in the chat will not be leaked anywhere.
To enable the new feature, users need to go to Settings and turn it on. For this, tap the name of the chat and then tap on ‘Advanced Chat Privacy’.
This is the first version of the feature. In the coming days, the company will add a lot about this feature. It can also include many other safety-related features. After the global rollout, this feature has reached some users and the rest will get it soon.
