Kathmandu. WhatsApp has released a new update. This will allow iPhone users to use multiple accounts on the same device. This update is currently released in beta for iOS and has been rolled out to a limited number of users.
This information is provided by WABitinfo. A platform tracks the upcoming features that WhatsApp is going to bring. This feature is called multi-account. Android users already have this feature.
Most people have two SIM cards or mobile numbers. One for personal use and the other for work. Until now, iPhone users were unable to use both accounts in the same app. Because of this, they needed to use the WhatsApp Business app. It wasn’t a permanent solution.
WhatsApp has now rolled out a new feature called Multi-Account. It is currently under trial. It is currently being tested for iPhone users. Under the new feature, users will find a list of accounts. Where they can switch between accounts. This can be done through the button next to the options or profile icon in Settings.
However, iPhone users will first have to add a second number to the account provided in the settings. Once the login process is complete, users will be able to easily switch between two accounts.
Under the upcoming multi-account feature of WhatsApp, user preferences will be taken into account. Each account will have its own settings. If the user has multiple accounts and their settings and pinned messages are different, those settings will automatically change when the accounts are switched within the app.
