IPhone users have been given the option to scan the document and send it directly from WhatsApp. Users will get the option of scan document by going to the attachment menu. After the new update, users will be able to choose WhatsApp as the default app on the iPhone. This means that users will be able to make this app the default app for calling and messaging.
Talking about calling, the company has added zoom feature to video calls. In addition, participants can be added to the running call directly from the chat. For this, an add-to-call option has been given. WhatsApp has also improved the calling quality. This will reduce the problem of call drops and freezes.
Talking about channels, the company has added the video notes feature. With the help of which the admin can record and send videos up to 60 seconds directly to the channel. In addition, the feature of voice transcripts has also been provided on the channels. The QR code of the channels has been added to WhatsApp. For this reason the admin can send a QR to someone instead of a channel link.
