Kathmandu. The United States has announced a reward of $50 million for anyone who helps arrest Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
The US administration has accused Maduro of being “one of the world’s biggest drug traffickers”. Us President Donald Trump has long been critical of Maduro.
Maduro returned to power after a controversial election in January. Which was widely rejected by the international community.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said $ 25 million in rewards had previously been announced for anyone who helped arrest Maduro. “Now the prize money has been doubled,” Bondi said, adding that Maduro was directly involved in drug trafficking. – Agency
