Kathmandu. In the UK, the policy of four days of work and three days of rest in a week implemented as a trial has yielded excellent results. This policy has significantly improved the work of the employees and the income of the companies has increased.

From November last year to April this year, 17 companies in the UK were mandated to work only four days a week on a trial basis. About 1,000 employees worked in these companies only four days a week and the remaining three days were given leave.

This policy has given a lot of relief to the employees and their performance results have been made public in the best way. During this period, there has been a significant increase in the revenue of some of these 17 companies. The number of employees falling ill has decreased significantly compared to the past.

London-based software maker BrandPipe’s revenue grew nearly 130 percent during the period, according to a report jointly prepared by the 4-Day Week Foundation and Boston College. “Our company has been very successful in the four-day working policy trial period,” said Geoff Slagter, CEO and co-founder of BrandPipe. ’

According to the report, the earnings of the other three companies have improved significantly, similar to the brandpipe that participated in the trial. “One has decreased,” the report said, “but the number of employees working in these companies has decreased.” – Agency
