Kathmandu. U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a 25 percent tariff on all medium-sized trucks entering the United States from November 1.
Trump announced the new tariff on Monday via Truth Social. Without mentioning any country in his post, he wrote, “This tariff will apply to trucks coming to the US from other countries.” ’
“Beginning November 1, all medium and large trucks coming into the United States from other countries will be subject to a 25% tariff,” Trump wrote in a tweet. ’
In his second term, President Trump has changed US trade policy. In April, he imposed a 10 percent tariff in all countries. However, some countries have imposed higher tariffs.
