Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Three newly-appointed ministers of the interim government led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki took oath of office and secrecy on Monday.
President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kul Man Ghising and Minister for Home, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Om Prakash Aryal.
Khanal is also a former secretary. He has announced that he will not take any additional allowances while he is a minister.
Likewise, Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Ghising is the former Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). He has also served as Minister for Physical Planning and Transport and Minister for Urban Development. Aryal is also an advocate and facilitator of the Genji movement.
Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal, former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai among others were present on the occasion.
