Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure dividends of the two companies. NMB Bank Limited and Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited are closing the book on December 22 for the AGM and dividend distribution. Therefore, the shareholders who have been transacted in NEPSE till date will participate in the meeting and will receive dividends.
NMB Bank has decided to hold its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 9. The assembly will begin at 10:00 am at the Tribhuvan Army Officers’ Club in Tundikhel, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 10 percent dividend of the current paid-up capital for the current fiscal year. This includes 5% bonus shares and 5% cash dividend.
The meeting will endorse a special proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association accordingly as the existing issued and paid-up capital will increase after the distribution of bonus shares. The meeting will also endorse another special proposal authorizing the Board of Directors to incorporate the suggestions, suggestions and directives received from the regulatory bodies while amending the Memorandum of Association and Regulations.
The meeting will approve the annual report of the last fiscal year and also approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for the current fiscal year.
Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta has decided to distribute 15 percent dividend of Rs 4.31 billion to the shareholders. Out of this, 14.25 per cent will have bonus shares worth Rs 614,48,565.71 and cash dividend of Rs 3,23,44,661.35 per cent for tax purposes.
The microfinance company is holding its 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 9 at 11:15 am at Karki Banquet in Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
