Kathmandu. Swarozgar Laghubitta Financial Institution has decided to close the book on April 15 for dividend and annual general meeting purposes. This means that only the shareholders who have been in existence before April 15 will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the meeting.

For the fiscal year 2080/81, the company has proposed a dividend of 14.21 percent of the current paid-up capital. Of this, 13.50 percent is bonus share and 0.71 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held on May 29 to pass the proposal.

According to the data, the company has distributed attractive dividends from the previous years. Looking at the company’s 12-year dividend history, it has been seen that the company distributed the highest dividend in the financial year 2070/71. The company had distributed a total dividend of 47 percent in that fiscal year. Of this, 27.39 percent was bonus and 20 percent was cash dividend.

The company had distributed a total dividend of 7.3684 percent in the fiscal year 2079/80 BS. Of this, 7 percent was bonus and 0.3684 percent was cash.

In the fiscal year 2078/79 BS, a total dividend of 23.1579 percent was distributed. Of this, 22 per cent were bonus shares and 1.1579 per cent were cash dividends for tax purposes.

In the fiscal year 2077/78 BS, a total dividend of 25 percent was distributed. In which the company distributed only 25 percent bonus shares.

In the fiscal year 2067/77 BS, a total dividend of 13 percent was declared. Of this, 12.3907 percent was bonus share and 0.6521 percent was cash dividend for tax purposes.

In the fiscal year 2075/76 BS, the company had distributed a total dividend of 28.15 percent. Of this, 26.75 percent was a bonus share and 1.4 percent was a cash dividend.

In the fiscal year 2018/19, the company had distributed a total dividend of 21.05 percent. Of this, the company distributed 20 percent bonus shares and 1.05 percent cash dividend.

In the fiscal year 2073/74 BS, the company had distributed 17.54 percent dividend. Of this, the company distributed 16.66 percent bonus shares and 0.88 percent cash dividend.

In the fiscal year 2072/73 BS, the company had distributed a total dividend of 32 percent. Out of the total dividend, the company distributed 30.4 percent bonus shares and 1.6 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.

In the fiscal year 2071/72 BS, the company had distributed a total dividend of 36 percent. Of this, the company distributed 34.2 percent bonus shares and 1.8 percent bonus shares for tax purposes.

In the fiscal year 2069/70, the company had declared a total dividend of 19 percent, out of which the company distributed only 19 percent cash dividend.
