Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Wednesday. The NEPSE index closed 34.61 points higher at 2,794.78.
With the rise in the market, 12 groups except the business groups in the NEPSE sub-group have been green. The development bank group saw the highest decline of 3.86 percent, while the business group saw a decline of 0.18 percent.
On this day, the share price of 193 companies has increased in the market and 55 companies have decreased. Today, the market has made a transaction of more than Rs 14 billion. Butwal Power has the highest turnover.
