Kathmandu. After the appointment of a new governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, the stock market rose in the initial phase today, but in the end, it closed down by a small number. The NEPSE index closed 7.94 points lower at 2,669.51.
Three groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased and 10 have decreased. Banking group fell the most by 0.25 percent, while production and processing group fell the most by 0.68 percent.
Today, the share price of 93 companies has increased in the market and 153 companies have decreased. The share price of one company has remained stable on this day.
More than Rs 10.5 billion has been traded in the market today. The highest turnover has been made in radhi electricity.
