Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. The NEPSE index rose by 32.24 points to 2695.55.
As the market rose, 12 groups in the NEPSE subgroup increased while one group decreased. Today, the investment group increased the most by 2.07 percent, while the mutual fund group decreased by 0.09 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 222 companies increased, while 22 decreased. More than 7.5 billion rupees were traded in the market today. Himalayan Reinsurance has the highest turnover.
