Kathmandu. The stock market has welcomed the great festival of Hindu women, Teej, with green. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index rose by 4.83 points to close at 2766.09 points.
On this day, nine groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased and four groups have decreased. In the market today, the other groups fell the most by 1.42 percent, while the production and processing group fell the most by 0.68 percent.
Today, the market has made a transaction of More than Rs 4.18 billion. This transaction is lower than yesterday. The participation of women investors in the stock market has been encouraging since Covid-19. However, due to teej today, the presence of women investors in the market has decreased.
Today, the shareholders of Bikas Hydropower have become rich in the market. The company’s share price has increased by 10 percent.

On this day, the unit owners of Kumari Sabal Yojana lost the most in the market. The unit price of this scheme has decreased the most by 3.66 percent.

Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance are the highest traded in the market today. Shares of the company were traded at Rs 489.5 million.
