Kathmandu. A sinister conspiracy to get insurance money of Rs 60 lakh has been busted in Rajasthan’s Alwar.
Three friends had planned to find a young man who looked like their missing brother. Their only aim is to kill the young man and claim the insurance money from the company. The court has sentenced three accused Anil Khatrihit to life imprisonment in the case.
According to public prosecutor Navneet Tiwari, Anil’s brother Sunil had been missing for a long time. Anil had hatched a conspiracy to declare him ‘dead’ to get Rs 60 lakh from his brother’s insurance policy with LIC. For this, Anil along with his friends Pawan and Yakub searched for a young man who looked like Sunil. During the search, they found 24-year-old Ramkesh of Salpur, who works at Mahavir Dhaba.
Friendship, Alcoholism, and Murder
As part of the plan, the accused had earlier befriended Ramkesh. On September 30, they gave him new clothes and shoes. The Bolero was then taken away in the car on the pretext of drinking alcohol. As soon as they got the chance, three of them killed him.
After the murder, they tried to falsify Sunil’s identity by keeping his voter ID card in his pocket. So that they can claim the insurance money.
