Kathmandu. The Inland Revenue Department under the Ministry of Finance has said that the Permanent Account Number (PAN card) can now be obtained from the local level.
According to the department, the system of issuing PAN cards from the local level has already been implemented. The department has informed that this service can also be obtained from the office of the treasury and financial comptroller in the district until it is provided by the local levels.
According to the Department, services like tax payment, tax clearance certificate and other services are available through online system. The department has said that the service can be availed from the local level, the Office of Fund and Account Control Office and the Tax Payers Service Office.
