Kathmandu. Life insurance company Surya Jyoti Life Insurance has honored its MDRT-eligible agents for 2025 at a grand event at Chandragiri Hills Resort in Chandragiri.
Surya Jyoti Life organized a special event last week to honor agents who successfully achieved their business goals set by the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an international organization of financial advisors.
According to the insurance, agents Gaurav Kumar Shahi and Deepak Sapkota have also qualified for the Court of the Table title for 2025.

At the event, Suryajyoti Life Chairman Keshav Prasad Bhattarai expressed his gratitude, saying that the agents who qualified for MDRT have made a major contribution to the company’s financial growth.

Chief Executive Officer Prakash Bikram Khatri requested that all agents should make joint efforts to produce a significant number of MDRTs in the coming year, as they will have the opportunity to represent Nepal at an international level agent gathering and be honored. He expressed his gratitude for the contribution of all agents who have got the opportunity to introduce Matrubhuti and Suryajyoti Life on the international stage through a prestigious program like MDRT.
Suryajyoti Life has a paid-up capital of Rs. 5.1 billion, a total investment of Rs. 42.42 billion, and a life insurance fund of Rs. 38.3 billion. Similarly, the number of issued insurance policies is 31,72,510, the number of trained agents is 1,01,000 and the number of branch network is 174.
This insurance has also introduced a rider for the first time in the life insurance sector of Nepal, which provides treatment expenses of up to Rs. 5 million against 35 most fatal diseases. It is the only life insurance company among insurance companies to receive the international quality certificate ISO 9001-2015.
