Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority Executive Director Sushildev Subedi has said that Suryajyoti Life Insurance Company has given proof that digital systems are not lacking in insurance as well.
The Executive Director expressed this view at the inauguration program of Suryajyoti Life’s Cares Card and e-Loan digital service in Kathmandu today. ‘The journey that Suryajyoti Life has started to create this high-tech product is very commendable and appreciable,’ he said, ‘May this company’s mission be successful. May it continue to do such good activities in the coming days as well. The Insurance Authority has always stood by the insurance companies in the development of innovation and the invention of the latest things.’
Executive Director Subedi also said that the Insurance Authority will exercise its guardianship in such matters. ‘I will help by acting as a facilitator,’ he said.
Subedi also mentioned that a product launched by Suryajyoti Life 2-3 years ago was very popular in the market. ‘I remembered that day again,’ he said, ‘The services launched today have become popular in many countries, and today they have also started in Nepal.’
Subedi said that the company’s facility to provide loans electronically will reduce the cost of the insured and save time. ‘The Authority will always support and assist insurance companies in moving forward in the electronic system, that remains our policy,’ he said.
Executive Director Subedi suggested the company to review a limit of Rs 500,000 and a limit of Rs 50,000. ‘Likewise, Rs 50 does not do anything in this day and age, it would be better to leave it,’ he said, ‘Rather, in the future, when designing a product, you can load Rs 50 in the technical load, but it would be better not to say that I have taken Rs 50 from you in a way that the general public can see.’
‘Both the products brought by the company are good,’ he said, ‘I wish them success. The Authority is always ready to support the company in its success.
