Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order on the government’s decision to remove Kulman Ghising from the post of Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.
A joint bench of Justices Dr. Kumar Chudal and Nityanand Pandey has refused to issue an interim order on the writ petition filed against the government’s decision to remove Kulman. The bench has given priority to the case and has issued a pre-emptive order.
With this order of the Supreme Court, Hitendraman Shakya will be allowed to work as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority.
With the order of the Supreme Court, Kulman’s writ petition will now be heard in full. Last week, the government removed Kulman from the position of Executive Director of the Electricity Authority and appointed Shakya.
