Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Ravi Lamichhane was sent to Bhairahawa Prison on Monday.
The Butwal Bench of the Tulsipur High Court had ordered the President Lamichhane to be detained in the Supreme Cooperative case. According to the District Police Office, Rupandehi, after completing the court process, Lamichhane was sent to Bhairahawa Prison.
According to the Rupandehi Police, Lamichhane will be kept in prison until further orders.
The police arrested Lamichhane from Kathmandu last Friday night following the order of the Butwal Court. He was taken to Bhairahawa on Saturday morning. Since he had two days off, the police completed the court process and sent Lamichhane to prison today.
