Kathmandu. The stock market will remain closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has informed that the market will remain closed for both today and tomorrow. The notice reads that all securities transactions have been suspended for these two days as per the Listing and Transaction Rules, 2075 BS due to the current adverse situation and the request of the trading members and investors to suspend the transaction.
The stock market was closed on Tuesday due to the Genji protests. The stock market will open from next Sunday if the situation becomes favourable.
