Kathmandu. In the first month of the current fiscal year, micro-life insurers have brought in more than Rs 80 million.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, four micro-life companies have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 78.2 million. During this period, these companies sold 28,456 micro insurance policies.
Protective Micro Insurance is the biggest source of business in the month of July. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 20.8 million by selling 7,992 policies.
Similarly, Nepal Micro Insurance is the second largest importer of business. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 20.1 million by selling 6,973 policies.
Similarly, Trust Micro Insurance earned Rs 19.8 million by selling 6,132 policies and Star Micro Insurance earned Rs 17.4 million by selling 7,359 policies.
