Kathmandu. The micro-life insurance companies have made a business of more than Rs 850 million in the third quarter of the current fiscal year (July-March).
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, three micro-life insurers have issued 860,063 insurance policies till Mid-April and earned a total insurance premium of Rs 855.6 million.
Guardian Micro Life is the largest number of business owners by Mid-April. The company has issued 578,767 policies and earned a total insurance premium of Rs 325.8 million.
The second is crest micro-life. The company has sold 170,820 insurance policies and earned a total insurance premium of Rs 322 million.
Similarly, Liberty Micro Life has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 207.7 million till Mid-April. During this period, the total number of active policies of the company is 110,476.
