Kathmandu. Recently, there has been a growing trend of giving gifts related to long-term financial security, different from traditional gifts, on birthdays. In which, long-term security means such as life insurance policies are becoming popular as gifts.
In this context, Hemlal Shrestha (Rupak) and Kavita Ruchal Magar Shrestha, residents of Kavre Roshi Rural Municipality 11, have gifted their daughter Apeksha Shrestha a life insurance policy worth Rs 1 million from Citizen Life Insurance Company, Banepa Branch on the occasion of her first birthday.
Shrestha said that she chose the plan because when insuring her daughter, she will also be insured with a single premium. He said that this gift is important as it will guarantee financial security in the future and will make it easier for the daughter to pursue higher education, do business, and even get married in the future.
Agency Manager Ashok Buddha Lama said that it is inspiring to give such a long-term thought-filled gift and congratulated the Shrestha family for the love, affection and future security shown by the parents towards their daughter. He also emphasized that gifts related to financial security should be given instead of unnecessary expenses.
