Kathmandu. Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd., a leading food manufacturer in Nepal and a strong player in the international market, has announced the appointment of GP Shah as its new Global Executive Director.
Yashoda Foods announced Shah’s arrival at a grand ceremony at the Hyatt Centric in Salt Lake City on Friday. At the event, Yashoda Foods Chairman Chunna Prasad Poudel welcomed GP Shah as Global Executive Director with a bouquet of food and flowers.
Shah was previously the Managing Director of Anand Gourmet, a daily consumer goods company headquartered in Kolkata, India. Shah, who has a permanent address in Bara district, was leading the global market for Wai Wai noodles at the Chaudhary Group’s India office before joining Anand Delicious.
With an annual turnover of over 1 billion in the international market, Yashoda Foods exports its products to more than 15 countries including India, Canada, America, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Japan, UK, Italy, Malaysia, Australia, Korea, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Qatar, Singapore, New Zealand.
With Shah’s appointment as Global Executive Director, Yashoda Foods has begun a new and exciting chapter, the company says. In his role as Global Executive Director, he is expected to lead the latest initiatives and further strengthen the company’s presence in both domestic and international markets.
