Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBI) has approved the issuance of three mutual fund units.
The securities board has allowed NMB Saral Bachat Fund-E, Citizens Sadabahar Yojana and NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme to issue units.
The Securities Board of Nepal (Sebi) has approved the issuance of an additional 20 million units of NMB Saral Savings Fund-E. Now the scheme manager NMB Capital will issue a unit worth Rs 200 million at a face value of Rs 10.
A total of 340 million units of the scheme have already been registered with the Securities Board. The scheme is being run under NMB Mutual Fund and nmb Bank is the promoter of the fund.
Similarly, permission has been given to issue units worth Rs 500 million under the Citizen’s Evergreen Scheme to be operated under the Citizens Mutual Fund. The scheme manager will now issue a total of 50 million units at a face value of Rs 10. Citizens Bank is the promoter of the fund.
On the other hand, the Securities Board has approved the issue of nic Asia Linked Investment Scheme worth Rs 1 billion under NIC Asia Bank Mutual Fund. Now the plan manager NIC Asia Capital will issue a total of 100 million units at a face value of Rs 10. NIC Asia Bank is the fund promoter of the scheme.
These are all three open-ended schemes.
