Kathmandu. The Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives (HoR) has again sent a letter to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to inform it about the implementation of the decisions taken on December 15, 2018.
The Accounts Committee sent a letter to the Securities Board on June 12, directing it to inform it about the status of implementation of these decisions. It has been directed to provide information to the committee secretary about the status of implementation of the decision of the accounts committee within three days from the date of receipt of the letter.
Earlier, the Securities Board had informed the accounts committee about the implementation of the decision while sending a letter on February 1, 2018. The committee has sought information from the Securities Board on the status of implementation of the decision after that date.
At that time, the accounts committee had directed to allow IPO only to companies with a real net worth of more than 90. The committee had also directed the securities board to follow the book building process.
