Kathmandu. Smart Choice Technologies Limited, a licensed payment system operator of Nepal Rastra Bank, has been issuing union pay card, which is now easily able to load wallets on various mobile wallets operating in Nepal.
All mobile wallets such as eSewa, Khalti, Hamara Pay, etc. have the facility to easily load the wallet directly from their SCT Union Pay card.
Customers can avail this facility from all wallet and merchant applications associated with Nabil Bank’s Electronic Payment Gateway. This facility will make it easier for customers to not only make payments from their payment GatePay card to POS but also to make payments through digital wallets, e-commerce payments, purchase of airline tickets, etc.
SCT currently issues Union Pay cards through 23 banks and financial institutions and more than 100 co-operative societies. Customers interested in getting Union Pay debit card can easily get it from member banks and financial institutions mentioned in SCT.
