Kathmandu. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance has provided training opportunities to its agents at India’s premier educational institutions at a time when life insurance companies are vying to train Indian metric speakers.

Sanima Reliance Life participated in the training at the prestigious Insurance Institute of India in Mumbai, India as part of its educational tour on Saturday.

On the first day of the training, we got an opportunity to learn new things about international insurance practice, policy, technology and customer service system, said agent Sita Shrestha.

A total of 50 agents are participating in the training.

In recent times, agents have been demanding participation in the training from accredited educational institutions, saying that inviting so-called Indian trainers will not contribute to their career development even if they are entertained for a few hours.

Even if the participants receive certificates in the training conducted by Indian trainers in Nepal, such a certificate does not have any meaning in their CV, it is not valid anywhere. Getting an opportunity to participate in training conducted by institutions such as insurance institutes not only provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge from subject experts but also get training certificates that can be mentioned in CVs.

Similarly, the insurance company has recently conducted a three-day training for employees across the country at its head office, giving priority to enhancing the efficiency of the employees. At the beginning of the current fiscal year, the training program has been conducted with the aim of enhancing the skills by providing additional training to the employees in related subjects. Some employees of the insurance company have also been involved in the training related to prevention of property purification conducted by the Banking and Financial Institute.
