Rs. NMB Bank seeks permission from Securities Board of India to bring bonds worth Rs 5 billion

Kathmandu. NMB Bank has started the process of bringing bonds worth Rs 5 billion. The bank had filed an application with the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on May 15 seeking permission to bring the bonds.

Nmb Power Bond-1 is going to be launched by the bank. The bank will issue a total of 5 million units of debentures at a face value of Rs 1,000.

Out of the total units, the bank will sell 3 million units individually. The remaining 20 units will be issued by the bank to the general public.

This bond of the bank is of 7 years duration. Investors will get 7 percent interest per annum.

Siddhartha Capital is the bond sales manager of NMB Bank.
