Reliable Nepal Life’s annual general meeting called, dividend approved

Kathmandu. Reliable Nepal Life has convened its 8th Annual General Meeting today.

A meeting of the board of directors of the company held on Wednesday decided to hold the annual general meeting on July 15. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.

Assembly for fiscal year 2080. The proposed paid-up capital of Rs 4.64 billion will pass a total dividend of 12.63 percent. This includes 12 per cent bonus share and 0.63 per cent cash dividend for tax purposes.

The meeting will approve a special proposal to amend the management letter and regulations accordingly as the paid-up capital of the company will reach Rs 5.19 billion after the distribution of bonus shares. The Assembly shall pass a resolution to give all authority to the Board of Directors to carry out any changes or other necessary works if directed by the regulatory body to make any changes or other necessary works while amending the Memorandum of Management and Regulations.

Assembly for fiscal year 2080. It will approve the annual and auditor’s report of 81. The same meeting for the current fiscal year 2081. It will pass a resolution regarding the appointment of auditors and determination of their remuneration for 82.

The company has decided to close the book on June 15 for the purpose of annual general meeting and dividend. This means that only the shareholders who have been in office before June 15 will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the meeting.
