Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) has said that it will enhance regulatory capacity and strengthen the internal structure by following international practices. NeA Chairman Sharad Ojha said this while presenting the annual policy and programme for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS today.
It will review the status of implementation of the Insurance Core Principles formulated by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and enhance relations with international organizations for capacity building of the Authority.
In addition, directives related to staff training and development will be formulated and implemented, the internal control system of nea and insurer will be made effective and the provincial offices of nea and state, branch and sub-branch offices of insurers will be further strengthened.
