Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is preparing to bring the third quarterly review of the monetary policy for the current fiscal year this evening.
Dr Bhagwat Acharya, assistant information officer of the central bank, said preparations were underway to bring the monetary review by this evening. “The monetary review will be held this evening if there are no hurdles,” he said.
Rastra Bank’s Department of Economic Research has prepared a review and sent it to the management committee. The review will also be sent to the Board of Directors of The Rastra Bank today itself after almost discussion on the review from the Management Committee.
Acharya informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors has been called at 5:30 pm today. “The monetary review will probably be made public after the same meeting approves it,” he said.
