According to the weather forecast issued by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there are chances of light to moderate rain and snowfall at some places of the high hilly and mountainous region of some provinces on October 26 and 26. According to Meteorological Forecasting Authority, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology is making a microscopic analysis to this effect in the context of two low-pressure systems developed in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea that have been developed in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea to bring rain and snowfall in the country from Tuesday to Friday.

“Therefore, the tourism season is underway and a large number of domestic and foreign tourists are heading out for trekking in high hilly and mountainous areas for the purpose of mountaineering and trekking,” the statement reads, adding that the weather forecast and the death and injury due to high-altitude sickness are on the rise. The NRA appeals to get information about the risk of peaking, to make necessary preparations and to stop the journey and to go down to the treatment process and not to go on the journey alone. ’

Likewise, the Authority has urged the concerned stakeholders including the District Security Committee, local levels and concerned tourism entrepreneurs to play the necessary role in protecting the lives of the citizens as per the weather forecasting and the warning issued by the Authority.
