Kathmandu. The Oriental Insurance Company Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs. 1 million in cash as part of its social responsibility. This assistance has been provided to Self Help Group for Cerebral Palsy Nepal, Lalitpur, a social organization that is working to rescue children who are unable to lead a normal life due to cerebral palsy by making special arrangements for their protection and education. This assistance has been provided to help establish a physical exercise home for the affected children.
T Chakraborty, Chief Executive Officer of the company’s Nepal office, handed over a check of the amount. The check handover ceremony was attended by Sirisha Marujola, Deputy CEO of the insurance company, and senior officers.
On the occasion, CEO T Chakraborty expressed his special gratitude to the social organization Self Help Group for Cerebral Palsy Nepal, which is doing great work of providing simple living and education to the affected children, and expressed his happiness at being able to provide this support as a small effort.
