Kathmandu. Now the insured associated with health insurance will be able to renew online.
Issuing a notice today, the Health Insurance Board has informed that the insured can now renew the health insurance online. Families associated with health insurance will be able to renew the insurance number of the householder through Khalti, e-Sewa and Connect IPS as well as by linking it to the Citizen App.
The board has urged the insured to renew the health insurance online if possible.
Similarly, if a member of an insured family has to be added, they have been requested to contact the District Liaison Office of the Health Insurance Board located in their respective districts with clear details before the online renewal. After paying for online renewal, the HIB profile app can be used to verify whether it has been renewed or not.
Once the payment for online renewal has been made, the insurance board has been requested to verify whether the renewal has been done before re-payment and whether the amount has been deducted or not deducted from their respective accounts and if there is any problem related to the payment, then contact the concerned payment provider.
