Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on the first day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 12.50 points to close at 2,594 points. Today, the share prices of 56 companies have increased while the share prices of 197 companies have fallen.

During the day, 1,12,72,168 shares of 330 companies were traded and over 4.74 billion shares were traded. Today, the promoter shares of Kumari Bank were traded the most. Today, shares of the bank worth Rs 26.18 crore were traded. Shares of Ngadi Group Power worth Rs 18.87 crore were traded. Shares of Shivam Cement worth Rs 7.89 crore were traded.
