Nepali women’s football team loses 4-0 to Bangladesh

Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal has suffered a defeat in the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship football tournament held in Bangladesh on Monday.

Bangladesh defeated Nepal 4-0 in the match held in the capital Dhaka. With this, Nepal has lost the opportunity to win the title.

Sogarika scored four goals for Bangladesh. She was banned for three matches after receiving a red card in the first match against Nepal.

The Bangladeshi players were able to put pressure on the Nepali team from the beginning of the match.

The Nepali players were facing a lot of difficulty in putting the ball on the foot on the field and passing the ball to their team players. Most of the time, Bangladesh had the ball on the Nepali post.

Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal competed in the double round-robin league. TAG_OPEN_div_11 Nepal has won both the matches against Sri Lanka and Bhutan, but lost both the matches to Bangladesh. Earlier, Nepal had lost 3-2 in the first match.
