Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has cancelled the licenses of two more money changers.
The central bank has cancelled the license of Lord Buddha Money Exchange and Stupa Money Changer. Both of them are based in Sundhara, Kathmandu.
According to the central bank, the license could not be renewed within the stipulated time (within three months from the expiry date) as per the provision mentioned in sub-regulation (3) of Bylaw 19 of the Rastra Bank’s Money Changer License and Inspection Bylaw-2077 (with the fourth amendment).
