The company has also called its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 14 to endorse the proposal of distributing the dividend. The meeting has been called at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The AGM has endorsed a proposal of distributing 1.05264 percent cash dividend and utilizing the proceeds by issuing 200 percent right shares.
The meeting will also endorse proposals to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and appoint directors on behalf of the general shareholders.
The company is going to close the book from September 28 to October 14 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till September 9 will be able to attend the meeting and get the dividend.
