Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has appealed to all to disseminate factual information.
Issuing a press release today, the Nepal Army made this appeal. “We appeal to the general public to contact the Directorate of Public Relations and Information to disseminate factual information about the Nepal Army,” reads the press release.
The Nepal Army has expressed gratitude to the various opinions and comments received from scholars, social workers, media persons and the general public for the role played by the Nepal Army in normalizing the difficult situation that took place on September 9 and 24. “We would like to inform that the Nepal Army has taken initiatives as per the need with the objective of maintaining peace and security at the earliest possible time by objectively assessing the possible effects on internal security,” the statement reads.
The Nepal Army has said that its attention has been drawn towards the dissemination of various types of comments and opinions linking the organization and leadership through various media and social networking sites in the current sensitive situation. “We also inform the fact that the NA has been regularly disseminating its views and activities through press releases, press notes and through the official social networking sites”.
