Nearly 100 employees in the microfinance sector decreased in three months. (with list)

Kathmandu. In the last three months, around 100 employees of the microfinance sector have been reduced.

According to nepal rastra bank data, 94 employees in the microfinance sector have been found to be less in the current fiscal year compared to the data of mid-January and mid-March of the current fiscal year. As of mid-December, there were 21,600 employees in 52 microfinance institutions operating in Nepal, which has come down to 21,506 employees in mid-March.

National Microfinance has added the highest number of 59 employees in the last three months. The number of employees in the organization has increased from 811 in mid-January to 870 by mid-March.

Similarly, 35 employees have been added to CYC Nepal Microfinance.

The poor utthan microfinance is ahead in reducing the number of employees. During these months, 56 employees of The Poor Upliftment Microfinance Have been reduced. The number of employees has increased from 1,116 in mid-January to 1,060 in mid-April.

Similarly, NIC Asia Microfinance has the second highest number of employees at 1,019, while 32 employees have been reduced in three months.
