Kathmandu. Two young employees have been promoted to the top management level of National Life Insurance, one of the oldest life insurance companies. Prajwal Sayami, Deputy General Manager and Vivek Sharma, Assistant General Manager have been promoted.
Chartered Accountant Prajwal Sayami, who is also the head of the finance department, has been promoted from Assistant General Manager to Deputy General Manager (DGM). Sayami has more than 12 years of experience working in various positions in life insurance companies. Before joining National Life in 2017, he served in LIC Nepal for 5 years. While at LIC Nepal, he has been overseeing financial investments and is currently serving as the Chief Finance Officer at LIC.
Sayami, who completed his studies as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2012, has also obtained an MBA degree from Pokhara University. He was also awarded the Nepal Vidya Bhushan for achieving the best academic results in MBA.
Similarly, Chief Manager Vivek Sharma has been promoted to the post of Assistant General Manager. He is the Head of the Marketing Department. Sharma has been working in the life insurance sector for the past 14 years. He also joined National Life Insurance from LIC Nepal 6 years ago. He has completed his graduation level studies.
