Kathmandu. The National Insurance Company has released the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2081/82 BS. According to the company’s financial statements, most of the company’s indices have fallen.
The company, with a share capital of Rs 266.6 million, has a retained earnings of Rs 2.47 billion till the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. There is Rs 3.15 billion in special reserves, Rs 692.2 million in disaster fund and Rs 10.7 billion in other equities.
In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, the company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.48 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 1.65 billion. The total insurance premium of the company has decreased compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
In this review year, the company has spent Rs 1.23 billion through reinsurance. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had spent Rs 1.33 billion.
The company has earned Rs 247.4 million in net insurance premium in the review year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a net insurance premium of Rs 311 million. The company’s net insurance revenue has also decreased compared to the previous year.
In the review year, the company has earned a profit of Rs 427.6 million. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 627.3 million. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the company’s profit has decreased in the review period.
