Kathmandu. More than 88,500 tourists from different countries entered Nepal in August.
According to the data released by the Nepal Tourism Board, 88,680 tourists entered Nepal in August. This is an increase of 22 percent compared to August last year. In August last year, 72,717 tourists had entered Nepal.
According to the board’s data, the highest number of tourists came from neighboring India in August. A total of 35,505 tourists from India have visited Nepal.
Similarly, china is in second place. A total of 7,533 Chinese tourists visited Nepal in August.
Similarly, 6,068 tourists from the US, 5,956 from Sri Lanka and 4,262 from Bangladesh entered Nepal in August.
