Kathmandu. MetLife Nepal recently organized an insurance awareness program at Biyodaya Secondary School in Dadagaun, Bhojpur Municipality-7 and Kanika Nisha Higher Secondary School in Chandannath, Jumla. Through this program, students were informed about the need, importance and practical aspects of life insurance.
The students had the opportunity to learn basic about insurance and to be aware of financial security in the future. It is believed that the insurance promotion will benefit the parents and the local community in the long run.
As per the directive recently issued by the Nepal Insurance Authority, this program has become timely as it is necessary to spread insurance awareness at the school level.
Such a campaign organized at the local level is expected to create a positive impact on financial knowledge and security. The program was attended by students, teachers and local stakeholders.
Such activities are expected to raise awareness about life insurance in the villages and contribute to building a safer future.
