Mabilung Energy’s IPO allotment, non-existing shares to be refunded from August 1

Kathmandu. Mabilung Energy Limited has issued and sold ipo for the local and foreign employment nepalis in the project-affected areas. The company has issued 18,99981 units of its issued capital of Rs 38,58,24,000 i.e. 18,90,53,000 units of ordinary shares at a face value of Rs 100 each for the general public. According to the Securities Issue and Distribution Guidelines, 2074 BS, the issue has been issued and distributed for the Nepali citizens residing permanently in Ward No. 6, 7, 8, 9 and Chainpur Municipality Ward No. 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9.

In addition, after allotment of shares to the residents of the project-affected areas, out of 15,04,706 units of shares worth Rs 1,504,700 each to the remaining general public at a face value of Rs 100 each, 1,50,471 units (10 per cent) have been opened for Nepalis working abroad after obtaining labour clearance from the concerned authorities of the Government of Nepal. A total of 3,85,824 units of shares were allotted to 582 applicants and 15,047 units were allotted to 15,047 applicants on Sunday as per the prevailing law relating to allotment of shares.

In the case of issuance for the residents of the project-affected areas, arrangements have been made to transfer the amount to the bank account mentioned in the application form by the concerned applicants from Thursday, July 15, 2019, for the shares that have not been partially allocated in the allotment of the investors who have submitted the application form from the collection centers.
