Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that load shedding has become a history for Nepal.
The AUTHORITY issued a press release today making this view public. “Load-shedding has become history for Nepal,” the statement said, adding, “The NRA is aware of the confusion among the common consumers due to the confusion spread with wrong intentions as there is no need to return due to the exaggeration made while disseminating the correct news.” ’
According to the NRA, serious attention has been drawn to the confusion created by the load management schedule issued by the Chanauli Distribution Center for its internal load management on June 15 and the views expressed in some media and social media about it. “Chanauli 33÷11 KV power supply within the jurisdiction of Chanauli Distribution Centre. Work is underway to solve the problem caused by the increased load on the 33 KV line coming from New Bharatpur (Baseni) substation at the substation,” the NEA said, adding, “The construction of the new 33 KV line from Basani 132 KV substation to Chanauli substation is in the final stage and we believe that this problem will be solved in the long term after the construction of this line.” ’
The NEA has clarified that only the schedule for the disruption of the line has been made public as the power lines and transformers have to be swapped to manage the excessive irrigation load due to drought caused by lack of rainfall during the year. “We would like to clarify that it is unfair and misleading to publish the news by giving the title of load-shedding schedule on this subject,” the statement said, adding, “Although the internal reports of the published news reports state that this situation cannot be called load-shedding by the responsibility officials of the AUTHORITY and the problem can be resolved by Wednesday, on the contrary, the mention of load shedding in the main title is itself sad and not justified in any way.” Let’s do it. ’
According to the NRA, the problem seen in the scope of the Chanauli distribution center is only a technical problem. “The nea has been working round the clock to resolve the problem and the power supply will continue within 2-3 days,” the statement said.
