Kathmandu. Laxmi Sunrise Bank is going to hold its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 30. The meeting will be held at 11:00 am at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamal Pokhari, Kathmandu. The meeting of the bank held on December 1 fixed the date for the meeting.
The bank has decided to distribute 10.53 percent dividend on its current paid-up capital. This includes 10 percent bonus shares and 0.53 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The meeting of the bank will endorse the proposal.
The Fifth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bank will be held at a meeting of the Bank. The AGM will review and approve the auditor’s report along with the balance sheet of mid-July 2082 and the statements of profit or loss for the fiscal year 2081/082 ended on the same date and the related schedules (including the subsidiary companies).
The AGM will appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082/083 and determine his/her remuneration as per the recommendation of the bank’s audit committee.
The AGM will endorse various proposals including increasing the authorized and issued and paid-up capital to the required extent for the issuance of bonus shares, amending the bank’s board of directors and amending the bank’s terms and regulations and authorizing the Board of Directors of the bank to make necessary amendments if suggested by the regulatory bodies.
The bank is closing its book on December 17 for the AGM and dividend distribution. For this, the shareholders who have been trading in NEPSE till December 1 will be eligible to participate in the AMALGAM and receive the proposed dividend.
