Kathmandu. Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has appealed to all sides to help promote Kathmandu-Guangzhou flights.
The corporation issued a press release making this appeal. The corporation has expressed confidence that adequate tickets will be sold on time as per the flight schedule. “The negative news will also have a negative impact on the corporation’s own market expansion plan,” the statement said, “Therefore, the corporation urges the corporation to disseminate the news only after taking information from the official sources of the corporation.” ’
According to the corporation, tickets for 68 passengers have been sold on the Kathmandu-Guangzhou flight on October 16 and 41 passengers on the Guangzhou-Kathmandu flight on October 17.
Similarly, 93 and 20 tickets have been sold on Kathmandu-Guangzhou flights on October 23 and October 24, respectively. The Kathmandu-Guangzhou flight scheduled on October 19 has been cancelled due to the NAC’s internal reasons. “All the passengers of the flight have been managed through alternative arrangements,” the corporation said.
The corporation has said that its attention has been drawn to the news published in some media that the flight was canceled due to low number of passengers.
